Spring Clean Parowan

I think Parowan needs a Spring Cleaning Week.  Get rid of all the clutter in our front yards (old cars, mattresses, campers, and other usless waste).  Parowan is a pretty town but there is a lot of trash laying around.  If the owner can't haul it away, then maybe some volunteers would do it for them.  And if the yard is not cleaned up then it will be removed at the owners expense.  I'm sure there are ordinance that would allow this.  Let's give Parowan a good spring cleaning.

No New Concerns

Our City must be so pleased, we can go months on here without any concerns being voiced.  No wonder Parowan is such a great place to live.

Recycling

Recycling has become very popular in Parowan.  Do you use the bins, would you be willing to donate to continue the service?  Please comment here.

sidewalks

I would like to see a plan and implementation program put together for curb, gutter, and sidewalk construction and reconstruction throughout the City.  It concerns me when I see children, young parents and those in wheelchairs forced out onto the street becuase they can not manouver bikes, prams or wheel chairs on broken or nonexistent sidewalks.  Those of us who enjoy walking or running for excersize find the sidewalks a major trip and fall hazard and often opt for the streets as a "safer" means of travel. 

Main Street Remodel

Parowan City is in the process of forming a plan to upgrade Main Street.  Do you know about this, do you have an opinion.  Please ad a comment to this entry, let everyone know how you feel.
