NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR 2-19-2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Parowan City Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, Parowan City Hall, 35 East 100 North. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding the following items:

1.  JKL, LLC has applied to Parowan City for a zone change from General Commercial (GC) to Residential 3 (R-3) for their property, Parcel #A-2018-0000-0000.  The legal description is listed below:

Legal BEG AT PT S 780.52 FT & W 1324.22 FT FR NE COR SEC 21, T34S, R9W, SLM; S0*18'35"W 474.38 FT; S10*34'24"W 121.41 FT; N89*22'24"W 361.80 FT; N0*18'35"E 593.97 FT; S89*22'24"W 383.43 FT TO POB; SUBJ TO R/W O/ S 33 FT & E 25 FT S1/2 SD PARCEL; and

2.  An amendment to the use regulations table (PCMC 15.36.020) to allow for the permitted use of Preschools in the General Commercial (GC) Zone (PCMC 15.35); and

3.  Modification(s) to PCMC 15.65 “Cargo Storage Containers Code.”
