NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please be advised that the Parowan City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, Parowan City Hall, 35 E. 100 North. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding proposed amendments to Title 15 (Land Use and Development) of the Parowan City Municipal Code (PCMC), which make key changes to zoning code and land-use policies to reflect the city’s vision they call “Rural Done Right.”
“Rural Done Right” is the city's balanced approach to growth that protects Parowan’s rural character while allowing for some reasonable and responsible development.

- Keeping Parowan Rural: Preserving our historic character and small-town atmosphere, and limiting housing options to fit withing a rural theme.

Copies of the proposed changes are attached They are also available for public inspection at the Parowan City Offices, 35 E. 100 N., Parowan, Monday – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
