NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please be advised that the Parowan City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, Parowan City Hall, 35 E. 100 North.  The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding proposed amendments to Title 14 “Subdivision Regulations” of the Parowan City Municipal Code (PCMC).  These amendments are required by State Law and have been written by the Hansen Group on behalf of Parowan City.  They are being reviewed by Parowan’s city attorney and the planning and zoning commission. 

A second public hearing will also be held at the same time and place to hear comments regarding amendments to the Master Transportation Plan to include the extension of East 100 North.  Although no immediate action is planned to extend the road, it is necessary to have it listed on the Master Transportation Plan in case a time comes when this would be necessary.  They are being reviewed by the city council as well as the planning and zoning commission

Copies of the proposed changes are available for public inspection at the Parowan City Offices, 35 E. 100 N., Parowan, Monday – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

CERTIFICATE OF POSTING: The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda was posted this 25th day of November, 2024. A copy of the foregoing notice and agenda was emailed to The Spectrum, posted at the Parowan City Hall, posted on the Parowan City website at www.parowan.org, and posted on the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
