2025 PAROWAN CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOTICE

In accordance with UCA 10-3-301(2)(a), NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Municipal Offices in Parowan, Utah to be voted on in the 2025 Municipal General Election are:

• Mayor – to be elected at-large to serve a four-year term
• Two (2) City Council Members – to be elected at large, each to serve a four-year term

2025 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION (if necessary)           August 12, 2025

2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION                                  November 4, 2025

Candidate Filing Period:

A Parowan City resident who is interested in becoming a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy between June 2 and June 6, 2025. Declarations of Candidacy must be filed with the Parowan City Recorder at Parowan City Hall, 35 East 100 North, Parowan Utah, during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

The qualification requirements for municipal office are:

A U.S. citizen

At least 18 years old

A registered voter In Parowan City

A resident of Parowan City for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election

Must not has not been convicted of a felony
