NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED TRANSFER OF FAIRGROUNDS FROM PAROWAN CITY TO IRON COUNTY

Parowan City hereby gives notice that on Thursday, October 28th at 5:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held in the Parowan City Council Chambers, 35 E. 100 N., Parowan, Utah, to hear comments regarding the proposed transfer of the fairground property from Parowan City to Iron County.  Written comments may be submitted to Callie Bassett, Parowan City Recorder, at the aforementioned address, mailed to P.O. Box 576, Parowan, Utah, 84761, or emailed to callie@parowan.org

RULES FOR PAROWAN CITY PUBLIC HEARINGS:

• Everyone who would like to speak will be given the chance to speak.  You will be given three (3) minutes to address the Council.
• Please raise your hand and wait to be recognized before approaching the podium.
• Please follow the instruction on the podium – State your name for the record and speak directly into the microphone so you can be heard by all.
• All speakers shall be afforded respect from the Council and other members of the public. 
• This is not a debate.  This is a time for the Council to listen and obtain public input.
• Shouted remarks, comments or disruptive discussion from the audience will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave.
• Please be respectful of those who have been recognized and have the floor to speak.
